Christmas Drone Show FAQs
Everything you need to know about bringing a spectacular DroneSwarm Christmas drone show to your event.
Whether you’re planning a Christmas market, hotel celebration, visitor attraction, corporate event or large public Christmas experience, our team can guide you through every stage.
A Christmas drone show uses a fleet of synchronised LED drones to create illuminated festive images, animations and effects in the night sky.
Our Christmas shows can feature everything from Christmas trees, snowmen and reindeer to presents, festive messages and other Christmas favourites.
We currently offer four ready-designed Christmas shows using 30, 60, 80 or 110 drones.
Each package offers a different level of scale and detail, making our Christmas shows suitable for everything from intimate venue celebrations through to larger public events.
We can help you choose the most appropriate package for your venue and audience.
Absolutely.
Our in-house animation team can create a completely bespoke show around your event, venue, brand or Christmas story.
This could include custom animations, logos, products, characters, text, messages and other imagery created specifically for you.
Yes. Our ready-designed shows provide a cost-effective starting point while still offering opportunities for personalisation.
Depending on the package and requirements, we can incorporate elements such as names, messages, dates or branding.
Talk to us about what you have in mind and we’ll recommend the best option.
Yes.
Logos and branding can be recreated in the sky, subject to the number of drones required to reproduce the design effectively.
More detailed logos may require a larger number of drones or a bespoke show.
Yes.
Our Christmas shows are particularly well suited to hotels, visitor attractions, Christmas markets and seasonal events requiring performances across multiple dates.
We can provide single-show and multi-night packages and can discuss the most cost-effective approach for your event.
Our proprietary drones are designed and manufactured in-house with outdoor operation in mind and are rain resistant.
We can operate in rain where conditions remain suitable, although heavy or persistent rain and other adverse weather conditions may prevent a show from taking place.
Safety will always determine whether a flight can proceed.
Every show is subject to suitable weather conditions.
Our team monitors the forecast leading up to the event and assesses the actual conditions on site. If wind speeds or other conditions exceed our safe operating limits, we will not fly until conditions are suitable.
For multi-night events or where dates are flexible, we can discuss contingency options during planning.
This depends on the size and height of the show, the venue and the surrounding environment.
As a general guide, drone shows require a controlled sterile area separating the aircraft from the audience and other people.
Don’t worry if you’re unsure whether your venue is suitable — send us the location or postcode and our team can carry out an initial assessment.
Not every location will be suitable, but many are.
We’ll consider the available space, surrounding buildings, audience location, airspace, nearby airports, roads and other factors when assessing your venue.
If you’re considering a show, send us the venue details and we’ll advise you.
The cost depends on the number of drones, location, number of performances and the amount of customisation required.
Our ready-designed Christmas packages provide a more cost-effective option because the main show animation has already been created.
Fully bespoke shows are individually quoted according to your requirements.
